Privacy Policy

Clayground for iPhone and iPad · Last updated: October 19, 2026

The short version: Clayground collects no data. Nothing you or your child enter ever leaves your device.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store, share or sell any personal information, from children or from adults. We have no servers that receive data from the app.

What stays on your device

So the app can remember each child, it saves a small amount of information in the app's local storage on your iPhone or iPad:

This information never leaves the device. We cannot see it. Like other app data, it may be included in your own device backup (iCloud or computer) if you have backups turned on; that backup is controlled by you and Apple, not by us.

What the app does not have

Spoken instructions use the voices built into iOS, which run on the device.

Parent gate

The grown-ups area (settings and kid profiles) is behind a parent gate: a question a young child can't answer, followed by a three-second hold. Clayground currently has no links out of the app. If we ever add one, such as a link to this page or to support, it will also sit behind the parent gate.

How to delete data

To remove a single child, open the grown-ups area and tap Remove next to their name. To delete everything, delete the Clayground app from your device: touch and hold its icon, then tap Remove App → Delete App. All names, ages and progress are erased with it. Because we never have a copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children's privacy

Clayground is made for children ages 2–5 and is designed to meet the Apple App Store Kids Category rules and the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Since we collect no personal information, there is nothing to request, review or share.

This website

claygroundapp.com uses no cookies, analytics, ads or trackers, and loads nothing from other sites. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes how it handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version is released.
